Full Review
As usual, let us take a deeper dive into the features of this archery/hunting package to see where it stands in today’s crowded market.
Materials and Design
At first glance the bow appears well built and solid. The limbs are made from Gordon Composite (made in USA) which are unidirectional, deep-deflection fiberglass composites that offer high performance, and high reliability (they go through rigorous testing for millions of cycles and showed little or no fatigue or performance loss). The riser and cams are made from CNC machined aluminum and the bow features a composite/soft-touch grip for enhanced comfort. The bow has an axle-to-axle length of 31″ , a brace height of 7″ and a naked weight of 3.85 lbs. The bow surface is finished with non-paint anodized water transfer and is available in both black and camouflage.
Flexibility
The Tactical Compound Bow by Vidagoods has great flexibility and versatility. The draw length can be adjusted from 19″ to 30″ without using a bow press thanks to the adjustable dual-cam system. The maximum draw weight on this bow is 70lbs and can be lowered to a minimum of 15lbs (using the included allen wrench), to fit the needs of the smaller framed, women and young archers as well.
Performance
The first thing you’ll notice about this bow is how fast it can be. Despite the brace height of 7″ (longer than the Bear Cruzer‘s), the Vidagoods Tactical compound bow fires arrows at an IBO speed of 320 FPS. Thanks to a generous let-off of up to 80%, it has a smooth draw cycle and it’s easy to shoot and beginner-friendly. The included braided bow sling and soft-touch grip design contributes to the overall enhanced accuracy and comfort on this bow.
Hunting Features
The powerful features offered by this bow in terms of speed, accuracy and overall performance make it a great hunting bow. With a weight of 3.85 lbs is not the lightest bow (the Edge Pro weighs in at only 3.2lbs and the Bear Cruzer at 3.6), or the most compact, but some hunters will be pleased by the general feeling of solidity and power when embracing this weapon in the fields. The bow features limb dampeners for noise-reduced performance, however is not as quiet as other hunting bows (you’ll need to purchase an adequate string silencer for extra noise reduction).
Package
Without a doubt, the amount of accessories included in this package is impressive, with the hard bow case obviously being the most notable, as most bow packages on the market do not include one. In addition, you’ll get 12 carbon arrows and hunting broadheads to start hunting right away. Another useful accessory included is the arm guard, which will protect your forearm from harm in case the bow string hits your arm when shooting. There’s also a bow release, and a bow stand, both of which of high quality, which will make your shooting experience with this bow more comfortable and enjoyable.
When you purchase the Vidagoods Tactical compound bow package you’ll get a 30-day warranty applicable from the day of shipment.
