Speaking of new packages, we’ve recently stumbled upon the RAPTOR Compound Hunting Bow Kit: LIMBS MADE IN USA by Predator Archery. Needless to say, we were impressed with the great features on this compound bow kit. While the bow market it’s literally exploding with ready-to-shoot archery sets, it’s still rare to find good quality starter let alone a pro package such as this at such a convenient price. The Raptor Compound Hunting Bow Kit stands out from the crowd for customer satisfaction, quality of material and versatility.
The RAPTOR compound bow is a smooth-pulling, accurate and versatile bow. The product is marketed as a suitable weapon for both bow hunting and bow fishing, but the bow can be used for target practice and virtually any archery style as well.
Let’s have a closer look at the features in this package and the user experience with the bow.

The RAPTOR by Predator Archery bow fits a wide range of body sizes, making it a great choice for young archers and women. As most bow packages, the bow it’s fully customizable in draw length (24.5-31″) and draw weight (30-70 lbs) without the need of a bow press. Overall the bow it’s easy to sight-in and tune, and features a split yoke tuning system for precise and quick adjustments. Some users have reported problems with the cableguard (the curved piece of steel in the middle of the bow that cables must travel past) occasionally slipping out. Make sure the screws are tightened well before taking the bow out in the fields. Visit your local pro shop for further advice or help setting up the bow if you’re not 100% confident with the system.
Speed and Accuracy
With its 75% let-off and a maximum speed of 315 ft per second, RAPTOR feels fast, solid and smooth, and performs accurately and consistently. Users have reportedly being able to shoot half-a-dollar-size groupings with this bow right after zeroing-in.
The package includes 5 pin sight with light and level, whisker biscuit style rest, and stabilizer, all of which are of decent quality, while peep sight and loop come pre-installed. The accessories are all of good quality, which is frankly impressive given the price the package is currently sold at.
